What You Need to Know

Take a look below for answers to some common questions about things like scheduling, safety, and our background.

Our main services include park trips, boarding, and 5-6hr doggie daycare. We are a licensed and insured business in the city of Seattle. We use the app time To Pet for tracking our schedule and services.

What are your service areas?

We service the neighborhoods of Sand Point, Windermere, Laurelhurst, Viewridge, Hawthorne Hills, Bryant, Wedgwood, Ravenna, Maple Leaf, Roosevelt, Greenlake, Phinney Ridge, and Wallingford.

Other neighborhoods we service by request are Matthews Beach, Meadow Brook, North College Park, Greenwood, Fremont, Ballard, Whittier Heights, Loyal Heights, Crown Hill, and Olympic Manor.

What are your hours?

For single pack days, we head out midday between 11am-12pm. For days where I take multiple packs we pick up a little earlier between 10-11am. It is about an hour for pickup, then an hour at the park, and about another hour for drop off. Because of traffic and unforseen events around the city times are flexible.

We are most single pack days at the moment, but will expand as time goes on.

What is your experience?

I became a dog walker in 2022, but started a daily habit of going to the dog park in 2018. I adopted my dog Scout off of the streets of Olympia, and after a few years daily trips to the Magnuson Dog Park I knew enough dog walkers, and had interacted with enough dogs to feel confident caring for them. Before that I often watched friends dogs and built my first relationships with dogs as early as 2013. I am currently studying dog behavior and pack dynamics.

My very first little buddy was an Australian Shepard named Diablo that was squirrel crazed. He would come over with my roommates girlfriend and hang with me while they were out.

Do you take pitbulls and other strong breeds?

It depends on their temperment. If they are not well socialized they will not be able to go with the pack. I offer leashed walks on a case by case base, and I'm happy to talk about socializing your pup for the park.

What if my dog needs medical attention while under your care?

If it is an emergency they will be taken directly to either your regular vetrinary clinic or the closest clinic based on urgency. If it is a minor injury I may tend to it at the park, and or put them in the van for the rest of the duration of the visit (max of 15-20 mins). In the event your dog is injured you will be immediately notified.

Do you take dogs who aren’t neutered/spayed?

This is a tricky one. We have succefully taken non-neutered/spayed dogs before without incident, but there is no gaurantee their won't be a problem. You can read more about the dynamics of non-nuetered/spayed dogs at the park here: Link

Are outings weather dependent?

We go rain or shine and some snow. Heavy ice is a no go.

Do you require a Meet & Greet?

We always ask for a meet and greet to get to know you and your pet. This will help make your pet more comfortable to the process, and I ultimitaly want to see if your pet makes a connecting with me. If we have met previously at the park and established report, I would still like to do a quick meeting at your home to show me entry/exit, and any other details for pick up and drop off.

How do I join the pack?

Once we have an intial meet and greet to establish the relationship I will send you an invitation email to our pet service tracking app Time to Pet.

Can you walk me through the park outing process?

Most days we pickup between 11am-12pm. We park curtiously, being aware of blocking any neighbors or parking spaces. We can enter using a key or code you provide and can lock accordingly. You have the option of giving us a copied key, leaving a keybox, or giving us the code to your digital lock. For days where I take multiple packs we pick up a little earlier between 10-11am. It is about an hour for pickup, then an hour at the park, and about another hour for drop off. Because of traffic and unforseen events around the city times are flexible.

Your dog will ride with the pack in my Toyota Sienna van that has AC and a padded floor. Considerations for temperment will be factored into which dogs go with which packs (also dependant on your schedule requests). For example to many high energy dogs in one pack is avoided

We are most single pack days at the moment, but will expand as time goes on.

How does boarding work?

Boarding also requires a meet and greet which is best done at my house. That way your dog can check the place out first and get some sniffs in before the boarding dates. This will help make your pet more comfortable to the new place, and I want to see if your pet seems like they will be comfortable there. Pick up and drop off is between 8am-10pm, and we try to scehdule in 24hr blocks for ease of invoicing.

What kind of payment do you take?

Payment can be completed through the Time To Pet phone app using a credit card (there is a website that can be used as well), or we accept Venmo or Zelle. Cash payment can be discussed.
